Some background on my life

This is the journey through my life. To start I was married very early in life and had 4 children, when I decided that I was ready to make some major changes in my life. I choose to leave my husband of 8 years, and return to school. I became some what side tracked, when out of the blue, I met the love of my life and best friend; Derek. We fell in love, he moved in with me and my kids and it had only been 2 weeks since we had met! Well 9 months later our first child came along, we were delighted. We both knew that we wanted more children, even though I had 4 and he had 1, now we had 6 all together. About a year after our first was born we found out we were expecting another, Vidalia Rose, we lost her. Then 6 months later we found out we were to be blessed with our 8th child another son Donavan. He too was lost to heaven.

So now my journey to heal starts. This will be a life long process I believe. I do not think that I will ever totally be over the fact that I lost 2 children. I am sure I will move on, but I will never forget them.
